Medical Assistants

Medical Assistants are highly versatile Healthcare Professionals, specifically trained to work alongside Providers and Nursing Staff within a variety of ambulatory care spaces.

Performing a range of tasks in their scope of practice, Medical Assistants responsibilities include: 

  • Office administrative duties
  • Conducting patient interviews and collecting a medical histories,
  • Measuring vital signs 
  • Assisting providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Medication administration
  • Collecting lab specimens
  • Conducting basic laboratory testing

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED recipient
  • 5 Week In-Person Training in Fairfax, Virginia,            M-F 8am to 5pm, in English
  • Previous healthcare experience preferable, (not required)
  • 1 year work commitment required
